Expressive Arts Therapy

 

Artmaking is a powerful way to identify, acknowledge and separate illness, distress and dis-ease from self-image. It’s also a powerful tool for creating a new image of a healthy, happy Self. As your expressive arts therapist, I am here to guide you through this process.


You don’t have to be an artist to benefit from expressive arts therapy; in fact, no prior arts experience is needed. Our sessions take place in a private studio equipped with musical instruments, visual art supplies, costumes, masks and more. I will support and guide you as you experiment with the modalities and media of your choice.


Expressive Arts Therapy is helpful in treating depression, anxiety, eating disorders, addiction, chronic pain, relationship issues, low self-esteem, abuse, trauma, loss, transition and most anything that ails the human spirit.
